Kristin Ólafsdóttir
Executive Producer & Director, Klikk Productions

Thor Björgólfsson is a self-styled adventure capitalist and the founder & Chairman of Novator Partners, an international private equity investment firm specialising in both developed and emerging markets. Thor also has throughout the years led various projects concerning environmental issues and numerous charitable causes and personally invests in cutting-edge sustainability initiatives, including Princeville Capital, a fund for growth-stage tech companies focused on positively impacting climate change.

Kristin Ólafsdóttir is an award-winning producer and founder of Klikk Productions, a company that has been producing and directing documentaries, films and theatre plays since 2002. Kristin is also a philanthropist, primarily fundraising and raising awareness on the salient issues relating to education, women and children as well as the environment.

Aside from their business interests, Thor and Kristin raise their 3 children and 2 dogs in their family home in London. Their eldest son, Daniel is currently studying at Wellington College and prospering, with their middle child Lorenz soon to be joining the Wellington community.
Whilst the Prince Albert Foundation is incredibly beneficial to children whose families may not have the same financial means to the outstanding education which Wellington offers, The Foundation provides an opportunity for pupils from all backgrounds to grow up with a better understanding and empathy in a world which is constantly evolving. Thor and Kristin are incredibly proud to be involved with The Prince Albert Foundation and look forward to the success and significant growth which they strongly believe will be achieved within the upcoming years.

Parents of 4 boys, the eldest of whom is currently doing GCSEs at Wellington, the second starts in September and who knows if the rest pull their finger out, they may hopefully follow… as an Old Wellingtonian Tim has been very inspired by how quickly and notably the school has developed over the last decade.

We both believe strongly that one of the most exciting elements of this change is Wellington’s progressive and pioneering approach to education. And we believe the Prince Albert Foundation embodies this change, whilst also reflecting the very foundation of the school.

The Prince Albert Foundation is Wellington’s opportunity to not just give those who can afford it the benefit of the most fantastic education but to also open its gates to include those who are equally talented but without the same financial means. We are very proud to be involved with the Foundation and consider it a wonderful and inspiring ambition to be supporting.
